On the second day of Blogmas
the blogger shared with you:
A Christmas Tag and a Christmas To do list.
Welcome to Blogmas Day 2, This year I'm going to be answering questions I've found, this post was really fun and enjoyable to write so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Feel free to copy and paste the tag questions and fill them in yourself. I love to see your answers.
1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
I love how almost every question was given, no matter what the topic, I seem to always have two answers. I can never just choose one thing! For me, it has to be a Christmas Prince and Home alone I love those two films. Those two films are the top two films I am always looking forward to watching around this time of year!
2. Have you ever had a white Christmas?
No I've never had a white Christmas, as in the UK snow tends to fall either after Christmas in February (around my birthday) or just before Christmas in November but the snow doesn't last long.
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
I stay at home with my family and friends. But this year we're changing things up a bit and spend the holiday's at my aunts and uncles, normally we're at my nan's on Christmas Day, and Christmas Eve we're at my other aunts (on my mum's side).
4. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Although I love the classic Christmas music, I have to go with "Last Christmas" by Wham, because I love the beat, the message, and I always jam out to it when I hear it, also me and my aunt (Mum's Sister) has this tradition where we sing Last Christmas to each other.
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
I grew up having our actual Christmas traditions on Christmas Eve, but the only presents we get to open on Christmas Eve is from family and friends. We tend to do presents from the main family on Christmas Day.
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen… and of course, Rudolph!
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
We spend Christmas Eve with my aunt (Mum's sister) and every year there's like a little buffet and we have a mini little Christmas party, with my favorite tradition that I and my aunt always sing Last Christmas to each other. Watching everyone open presents is my favorite part! Even the younger cousins I love seeing their faces on Christmas.
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Our tree is fake, but I would love a real at some point in my lifetime. However, I have heard they are hard to keep up with so we always just stick with a fake one for that reason. but for some reason, I want a real one!.
9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
Oh gosh, I don't even know where to begin! Food wise, my favorite is stuffing meat that my nan makes, they're delicious and Pigs in blankets. As far as treats go I have to go with the galaxy cameral in the celebrations tins anything cameral I love.
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts?
In all honesty, I love giving gifts. I would rather give a gift than receive one any day! I love the feeling of surprise and watching people’s facial reactions! It’s one of my favorite things about this time of year!
11. What is the best Christmas gift you have ever received?
For me, no one gift is better than the other. I love everything I have ever received and grateful for them all! Corny, but very true for me!
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I would love to take another trip to New York City, and see Times Square all light up and experience the view of the empire state building in a whole new light. It just looks so magical at Christmas and would be a dream come true to visit around Christmas time. So that is on the top of my list!
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I wouldn’t say I am a pro, but I wouldn’t say I fail either. I’m somewhere in between.
14. Most memorable holiday moment?
My most memorable holiday moment would be when I was younger when my mother was still around and she gave me a very special gift. As I've mentioned before, I lost my mother when I just turning two years old and she always remains in my heart and never forgotten. I remember when I was younger my mum gave me a massive present, to which I believe was a shopping trolly (though I could be wrong). When I opened it, I had the biggest smile in the world on my face and I loved the gift, I was grateful I have loving parents. That is my most memorable holiday moment thus far.
5. What made you realize the truth about Santa?
Honestly, It was when me and my brother couldn't sleep on Christmas Eve, and we sat on the stairs right on the top step not wanting to get caught by our parents. as we watched them wrap our presents if I remember correctly my brother came and got me out of bed because he didn't want to watch by himself since then I came to the realization that Santa wasn't real and trust me I caught on pretty quick as a kid!
16. Do you make New Year's resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Yes, I do. No, I don’t stick with them. I try so hard to, but they never fall through and I never keep up with them! However, I am dead determined this year! Watch, you’ll see! I can do this!
17. What makes the holidays special for you?
Can I say everything? From all the treats, gift shopping, time off from classes, and spending time with family friends, I absolutely love it all and it really is the most wonderful time of the year!
What can I say I just really love Christmas!
And that's it's for today's post! I hope you've enjoyed reading this tag.
So tell, my dear reader
What do you love the most about Christmas?
